I hold tight to Matthew 6:33 every day of my life because Jesus is my provider, protector, and my best friend. Seeking Him first in all things is the smartest thing any person could ever do. I promise you the first time you seek Him out in truth and ask Him to come into your life you will never be the same. He radically changed my life and pulled me out of a life-long practice of sin. I was on set working as a professional actor in Hollywood when the Lord introduced Himself to me loud and clear.—“from Hollywood to Heaven” or "from the pits to the pulpit" I like to say. Only Jesus can do that. I love you, Father.
Marty Yost is a graduate of the Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa: School of Ministry with a Diploma in Pastoral Ministry. Marty began his service to the Lord by teaching men’s Bible studies to share his love of Jesus Christ. That faithful service led to seven years of service as the Assistant Pastor of Voyage Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, California under the leadership of Sr. Pastor Brent Wagner. In 2018,Pastor Marty stepped out in faith to plant 99.1: A Calvary Chapel Church in Placentia, CA where he spent three years training up true disciples of Christ for the work ahead.
In 2019, the Lord began to burden Marty with returning to his home state of Idaho to serve Him. That gentle nudge became a resounding call in 2020 when a group of 20 believers in the Boise, Idaho area gathered together in a home to watch the 99.1 Church live streams during the pandemic.
After speaking with his family and members of the church family, 13 church members stepped out in faith and agreed to answer the call to serve in Idaho and launch Mountain Heights Calvary Chapel in Meridian, Idaho.
Marty and his wife Emily were married in 1999 and have three beautiful children.

Tim graduated from the Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa "School of Worship" in 2014 and has been serving the Lord faithfully ever since. The former worship leader for 99.1: A Calvary Chapel Church in Placentia, CA, Tim and his family answered the call to move to Meridian, Idaho to serve the Lord at Mountain Heights Calvary Chapel.

Women's Ministry Leader & Children's Ministry Director
Emily Yost is Pastor Marty's wife and faithfully served alongside him in youth ministry while at Voyage Calvary Chapel (Costa Mesa, CA) and as both the Women's and Children's Ministry leader at 99.1: A Calvary Chapel Church. Emily studied Biblical counseling offered to Pastor's wives through Calvary Chapel School of Ministry. She is excited to be serving the women and children of Meridian and the rest of the Treasure Valley.
